Our story
Phronesis (froh-NEE-sis)is an old word for practical wisdom – knowing the best thing to do and acting with integrity to actually do it. When the CPO learned that pizza phronesis is the study and art of crafting exceptional pizza dough, it was a perfect fit for the mission.
The art of raising dough
We believe pizza has a unique way of bringing people together. Friends linger longer. Strangers become neighbors. And some of the life’s best moment begin around cutting slices.
Why we give it away
Pizza Phronesis isn’t a restaurant on a corner — it’s a handful of community pizza nights each year across the greater Fall City and Snoqualmie Valley area. We invite people over or set up the tent and fire up the oven. All proceeds go directly to a featured local charity. Each event supports a different neighbor doing good work nearby.
The philosophy is there if you want it, but it should never get in the way of a good slice. We think pizza tastes better when it does a little good.
How it works
Watch for the next pizza night, and get your ticket for the event so we know how much dough to stretch. You get a genuinely great pie; a local cause gets a boost. Good pizza. Greater good.
